YOSEMITE SAM, fashion icon? The cartoon cowboy (and Bugs Bunny nemesis) is unwittingly in vogue thanks to designers’ newfound penchant for bowlegged pants. For fall, Loro Piana showed an exaggerated jodhpur option. Schiaparelli offers rounded jeans, a version of which actor Maya Hawke wore to May’s Cannes Film Festival (above). Loewe does a tapered take in relaxed wool twill. And Alaïa sells a pancake-shape pair with broad, arched legs that evoke a stingray’s wings.
